St Peters Presbyterian Church is located in Mt Wellington, Auckland, New Zealand.
St Peter’s is a church on a journey to explore the meaning of church beyond Sunday morning worship.
We are investigating the notion of missional church, learning to think about church as following God into our neighbourhoods, and seeing what we can do to be in tune with God’s
mission into our own society.
This has been a different way of thinking about ‘church’ and ‘worship’ for us, and we’d love you to join us in our journey.
Some of the things we have done:
** set up a meal bank of frozen home cooked meals for families under stress
** encouraged small ways to create relationships through acts of kindness
**we’ve held our first ‘meet your neighbour’ event to celebrate Neighbours Day Aotearoa 2012.
What’s on? These are regular activities held at the church – feel free to join us.

OPEN TO QUESTION: This home based group meets monthly on Friday evenings for healthy, hopefully intelligent discourse. This discussion group covers a wide range of current topics generated from within the group members itself.
GARAGE SALE: Last Saturday of February, May, August, and November. A quarterly event which draws a regular crowd from far and wide. Garage sale workers have a strong sense of community outreach & mission with these sales which have run for more than 30 years now. Sales run quarterly on Saturdays from 9:00am – 11:30am. In many ways these events embody much of the St Peter’s spirit – arms rolled up, all mucking in together, spirituality shared through the mundane, day to day living … community!
